I’ve done email marketing many times and I’ve always believed that it is a utter waste of time and resources… nobody reads marketing emails coz we’re bombarded with so many spam emails these days. It’s no longer effective. I’d rather do online ad banners or search engine marketing.

Personally, I would recommend using email with existing clients, or for those that you said you will email them/gained permission to email.
Do not buy an email list. It is a waste of time.
